Radio Interview on 103.2 Hope FM

This week the Charlotte Jane Band was privileged to be interviewed on Aaron and Dan's breakfast show in Hope FM's studio. The interview to be aired on Thursday on 103.2 FM at 8:10 am was the first of two interviews this week for the band.

The band also performed one of their arrangements of the legendary Eta James Standard "At Last" on air. The interview overall was focused on an upcoming event on 31 July 2010. The event is "Gospel Live" at the Manly Village Church www.gospellive.org. This will see the band headline a great lineup comprising of Red Ruth, Natalie Miller & The Charlotte Jane Band.

Gospel Live is a forum for christian artists to perform live on a fantastic stage and to an audience that truly enjoy the performing arts. The energy that the audience give to performers provides an atmosphere that brings the best out of any act. This was evidenced when last, the Charlotte Jane Band performed at the Manly Fig, also run by the same organiser to a packed house. This performance drew the best from the band in it's trio outfit. On the 31st, the band will be a 5-piece jazz, funk and soul outfit, presenting rearranged classic gospel songs with the story telling flare of Charlotte Jane. It will be a night not to be missed!

The band also will hopefully have it's latest E.P. out for sale and can be purchased on the night, assuming the publishing company finishes it's part. If not, the tracks should also be available on iTunes. The E.P. entitled "Out of the Blue" includes an original Latin Jazz song accompanied by some classic jazz, funk and Latin grooves. The E.P. is competitively priced at $10.
